Visited by E. and L., Boggs and Joe Morris- Oct.. 28, 1972, this cemetery is
just outside of Stilwell, Adair County, Oklahoma.
Leave Stilwell on #100 north. Go Toward Evansville 1.0 miles, turn N at orchard
sign, go 1.7 mile, turn right at house. Graveyard is in grove east, south of
fence.
Land, part of the allotment of Murtie (Morris) Scacewater, descendant of Parker
Morris, grandson of Gideon F. Morris.

This Morris family came from Cherokee County, NC to Indian Territory about 1867.
Gideon Morris was married to Rebecca 'Na-ke' Ca-ta-ti-hee. She is
supposedly niece of Drowning Bear/Yonaguska.
