Theft in the Church

During the night of August 22-23, the parish church in Kleinliebental was robbed, as reported in the "Deutsche Rundschau" newspaper. The thieves took two cups, an old communion cup, a relic-box, the holy-water kettle, one bell, and the incense receptacle with them. The priest keeps the monstrance and the cups at his place, otherwise they certainly would have been stolen, too. The organist became aware of the theft first. He immediately called the priest, who came running. Who could imagine his joy to find that at least the tabernacle was not broken into.

The thieves entered the church through a little window. People suspect the workers who are working on the church at the present time.
