Tamsine was baptised at Illfracombe, Devon on 26 Dec 1785, and was buried at Tawstock on 20 Aug 1846.

He married Elizabeth BRAUN (1776-1813) at Fremington, Devon on 31 Aug 1794. He married Grace TRAPNELL, daughter of Ann TRAPNELL (1766- ?), at Tawstock on 6 Jun 1813. He married Mary BRAWN, daughter of William BRAWN (? -1767) and Rebeckah at Tawstock on 10 May 1786. Mary was baptised at Tawstock on 24 Jul 1759, however, her burial date was not recorded. Their son Thomas was born at Tawstock on 1 May 1793. He was baptised at Tawstock on 21 May 1793, and was buried there on 29 Sep 1819.
