Shiro - Red Top Cemetery
Located about one mile from the Walker County Line in Grimes County, to the south of Hwy 30. The data for a portion of the persons buried here have been included due to the fact that some of them were residents of Walker County and owned property near the county line in Walker County, Texas.
A plaque attached to the large brick columns entering the cemetery reads: "Shiro Red Top Cemetery" A perpetual care cemetery made possible by Miss Jessie Harman, 1883 - 1970"
Note: Miss Jessie Harman lived on her farm - ranch in Walker Co. She was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
