I have a Great Great Grandmother that was married in 1885 in Fort Worth. Her name was Lena Schiro and she married Joe Manale. She died around 1868. Shortly after he married her sister Mary Schiro. I am stuck trying to find out the exact date they were married and that she died and that he remarried.

Help! Need info on family of James Henry C Branham/Mary Elizabeth J Hoskins. Listed in 1860 US Census in Lebanon area, Laclede Cnty, Missouri. James was hung by Union soldiers on 10 Mar 1865 during Civil War. Wife and children Later came to Texas and settled in Fort Worth area. Children with ages from 1860 US Census were: Artemesia, 19; Emily Jane, 16; William D, 13; Mary A S, 2; Sarah Emma, 5; James Hampton, 2 (my great-grandfather). William D operated grocery store on East First St in Fort Worth and later, a grocery store on East Baltimore in Fort Worth. Mary Elizabeth J Hoskins (wife of James Henry) remarried a man named Morrow and is buried in Bedford area as far as I know.

I am trying to find the parents of MARY ANN ALLEN, who married GEORGE WASHINGTON CULLOP (perhaps CULLOP has variant spellings). Apparently they moved to Tarrant County, Texas, and were there in 1880. Is there anyone who has access to the Tarrant County death records who look to see if MARY ANN's parents are listed on the record.Since she was born in 1822 (in Virginia) she may have died in the 1880's in Tarraton. I am seeking information on the burial site of my great grandfather, Benjamin Franklin Vantreese. He died at the Masonic Home on Division Street in Arlington on December 31, 1913. His death certificate states that he was buried on January 1, 1914 in Arlington, TX. The Masonic Home does not have a record of his burial site, and he is not buried in their cemetery. Any information about Allen Brooks LANCASTER. He is on the 1910 and 1920 Census living in Tarrant Co. married to a Mollie and step-sons Edmon REXRODE, Clyde REXRODE. Allen Brooks LANCASTER worked for Rolling Mills in 1910 as an overman. In 1920 he was a mechanic somewhere in Tarrant Co. Texas. In about 1921 Mollie died. In May of 1922 he married Hettie Belle (EMBRY) SMITH. They also lived in Tarrant Co. Texas and had two children born in Ft. Worth. Martha Allene LANCASTER and (Mack) Allen LANCASTER. John Wesley married Cora Ethel Damron September 15, 1897 in Choctaw Nation, I.T. Was told they had several children, unfortunately I do not know their names at this time. I have a date of death on John Wesley Betts of July 10, 1932, he and Cora Ethel were living in Saginaw, Tarrant County, Texas. I was told they owned a store there, Cora Ethel (Damron) Betts was still living in 1962 at the time of her brothers death. His name was William Riley "Ted" Damron, Cora Ethel was born in Weakley County, Tennessee. Her father's name was Charles Wesley Damron. I am interested in the Barton/Buffington families. James M. Buffington, Margaret Buffinton came from Jackson Cty, AL around the late 1880-1890 timeframe. James was 68 yrs old on the Tx 1910 census. Margaret was still living on the 1920 census and was 71. Also looking for info on George William Barton who married Bettie Buffington in July of 1891. George died about 1900. Do you know a Joseph Marsh HEWATT? Coming from Walker County, GA, where his father, Willis Coleman HEWATT and mother, Rachel Elizabeth BENNETT HEWATT, lived, he passed through the Dallas Fort Worth area to stay with his brothers John Walter HEWATT and William Ira HEWATT around 1900 when he was 20 year old. He later moved to the Oklahoma Panhandle to homestead.
