Hicks Field My dad James LeRoy Maloney was in WWII and took his pilot cadet training at Hicks Field. Eventually he went on to Florida to take advanced pilots fighter training. He served in the 15th Airforce, 31st fighter group in Europe, completing 50 missions in Bomber support.
