Hardisty Home Place This was the home of John Hollis Hardisty after he moved from the log house on Fossil Creek with his family. His father, James Hardisty, bought a head right from A.G. Walker when he came to Tarrant county in 1853. This home was located just north of what is old Highway 10 in Richland Hills. |

John N. Bowman place It was located at 4 corners, where Riverside Drive and Belknap Street come together in Fort Worth. |

Riverside Girls Form "Work and Win" Canning Club Officers of the "Work and Win" canning club are shown in the photograph. They are: President, Pearl Bryan; vice president, Lena Martin; secretary, Anna Lee Hardisty; treasurer, Modena Jones. The club is the third of the organizations formed by Mrs. C.M. Cross, engaged by the Young Men's Business League to carry on canning club and home economic work in Tarrant County. Other clubs have been formed at Arlington and Handley. This newspaper article was in the Now Fort Worth Star Telegram, before April 1919. |
