Berachah Cemetery

Arlington, Texas

IN HONOR OF J. T. UPCHURCH
FOUNDER AND SUPT. OF BERACHAH HOME
MAY 14, 1903
DESIGNED BY J.R. CAWTHON

Photos by Traci Daniel

This is a small cemetery in the middle of the UTA campus. It is located between Mitchell and Border just off of Cooper Street next to Doug Russell Park. What I know of it is limited, just that there was once an orphanage located on that same site. Many of the markers only say "Infant No 1" "Infant No 2"...etc. I counted up to 24 if my memory serves me right. Most of the other markers just say "George" or "Velma" as seen in one of my photos.
