The Fort Worth Public Library has the Fort Worth Star Telegram on microfilm. It is housed in the Social Science and Periodicals Unit at the Central Library. There is an online obituary index:

"Online index to obituaries appearing in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram from 1966-1993 and the Fort Worth Press from 1966-1976. You can search by last name or last name, first name. The index only gives the date the obituary appeared in the paper, not the obituary itself. To obtain a copy of an obituary, e-mail the Social Science and Periodicals Unit, [email protected], or call 817-871-7721. There is a $5.00 service charge, plus $1 for postage and handling and $.50 for each photocopy."
