Mrs. Hilda T. Burroughs wife of Postmaster George W. Burroughs, died at 9 o'clock last night at the family residence. She had been ill only a short time. Funeral services were held at the family residence, Floral offerings, including a beautiful arrangement from the postoffice employees, were numerous.

Services were conducted by Rev. Barlow R. Ramage, pastor of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church of which Mrs. Burroughs was a member, with burial in the new cemetery. Pallbearers included: W. G. Newby, T. N. Edgell, Dr. Wallerich, J. W. Spencer, E. H. Carter and Major K. M. Van Zandt.
