This is an index to obituaries that are kept on file at the Swisher County Museum, 127 SW 2nd, Tulia, TX 79088. Most are from the Tulia Herald, but 1924-1954 includes obituaries from the Happy Herald. You may also find some from miscellaneous newspapers throughout.

If you find an obituary of interest, you can email your request to Zoe Smith and she will go to the museum to make copies for you. Zoe is a member of the Tule Creek Genealogical Society who has archives the obituaries at the museum and maintains the database of these obituaries.
