| Cantrell, Lelia Lee Shows |
Mrs. Lelia (Shows) Cantrell died
here this afternoon. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She was born
in Alabama moving to Swisher County in 1891. She was married to JOE
CANTRELL in 1899 and moved into Tulia where she has resided since. Cantrell was
an early day rancher. He entered the mercantile business in 1896 the firm was
Cantrell and Shows. She is survived by her husband; four sons, Ruie,
Royal, Jack, and Joe; one daughter, Jewell; two brothers, Jesse and Harrison
Shows and one sister in Alabama; one daughter Hazel died three years ago.
