Unable to locate graves for Robert or Mary and have no info on FISHER family.

DODSON, MILLER posted by Jeri Smith on Tuesday, January 6, 1998: I am researching MILLER. My ancestor Daniel MILLER, b. May 30, 1831 in Virginia, moved from Denton County, TX. to San Saba County appx 1871-72. Lived in Bowser community and was a farmer. Married to Elizabeth DODSON, sister to first wife Maggie DODSON, who died when my grandmother, Martha Rebecca, was born Jan, 1870. Second family included children: Augusta V. (Allie); Mary A. (Janie); James Daniel; Margaret Ann; Amy Mae; and Thomas Marion. Allie married Melvin Dunham; Janie married George Strawbridge. Margaret married Jim Chamberlain; Mae married John Chamberlain. Daniel died June 12, 1902, and is buried in Varga Cemetery. Elizabeth died Jan. 5, 1918. Am looking for anyone searching this surname or with any information about this family. Will pay costs.

My mother's people lived on a farm near Richland Springs and Locker Texas when I was a small child. My grandfather was Melvin Mabry Vest and his wife was Nellie Nugent. My grandmother died when my mother was a child and my grandfather died when I was very young, in the late 1950's or early 1960's.

My TAYLORS would have come from Georgia following the Civil War and were in the 1880 census. Robert Flennoy TAYLOR and wife Louisa MOORE PATTON soon left for Oklahoma but Thomas Absolom TAYLOR(b1850) with wife, Alice(b1860) , and children Ben, Bob, Lizzy, Jim, Anna, Albert, Alfred, Ruth, John Howard, and Eula might have stayed. Clara Bethelia Taylor married and remained in San Saba Co, near a town called Gold???? and was know as Aunt Bethy Rose or Ross. Would love to learn more about any of these people.
