Madia Wroten 

1932-2000 

Funeral service for Madia Wroten of Weatherford is set for 2 p.m. Tuesday in the 
Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home Chapel. 

The Rev. Danny Williams, pastor of the Lighthouse Assembly of God, will officiate.
 Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens. 

Mrs. Wroten, 68, died Sunday, July 16, in Holland Lake Nursing Center in Weatherford
 following a lengthy illness. 

Born May 12, 1932 in Chillicothe, she married Donald Smith on July 6, 1952.
 She married Jim Wroten in 1964, and he died in 1975. She also was preceded in death
 by a son, Mike Smith, in 1999; and by a sister, Jo Graham, on May 9, 2000. 

Mrs. Wroten was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. 

Survivors include a son, Burt Smith; three sisters, Geraldine Hollis of Snyder,
 Evelyn Bunker of Maitland, Fla., and Marion Johnston of Plainview; a brother,
 Bobby Franks of Snyder; and several nieces and nephews.
