SNYDER DAILY NEWS http://www.snyderdailynews.com/Stories/index.htm Lanora Wallace 1915-2000 MUNDAY – Lanora Wallace, a native of Scurry County, died Thursday, Sept. 21, in a Sweetwater hospital. Funeral service for Mrs. Wallace, 85, is set for 2 p.m. Saturday in the Munday Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Cemetery under the direction of McCauley-Smith Funeral Home. Born in Scurry County, she married Carl Wallace in 1932 and he died in 1981. Mrs. Wallace had lived in Munday for 58 years before moving to Anson. A homemaker, she was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include four daughters, Betty Polk and Carolyn Reeves, both of Hawley, Pat Alredge of San Angelo and Fonda Crawford of Sweetwater; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
