Joyce Springer 

1925-2000 

ANDREWS - Joyce Springer, a former Snyder resident, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, at her home in Odessa. 

Funeral service for Mrs. Springer, 74, is set for 4 p.m. Saturday in the McNett Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Bob Zap, minister of the Andrews Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in the Andrews West Cemetery. 

Born Dec. 13, 1925 in Clifton, she married Jack Springer on Dec. 14, 1946 in Breckenridge. He died March, 4, 1990. 

Mrs. Springer’s husband was manager of C.R. Anthony’s in Snyder before moving to Andrews in 1996. She also worked as a bookkeeper and cashier for Anthony’s. She moved to Odessa in 1991. 

She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Andrews Presbyterian Church. 

Survivors include two daughters, Donna Springer and Janna Kuhlmann, both of Odessa; and two grandchildren.
