Sandy Pruitt 

1973-2000 

Sandy Mechelle Pruitt, a native of Snyder, died Wednesday, July 12, in Arlington’s
 Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. 

Funeral service for Miss Pruitt, 26, is set for 2 p.m. Saturday in the 
Wright Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Raymond Dunkins, pastor of the 
New Hope Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in the Snyder Cemetery. 

Born Oct. 22, 1973 in Snyder, she attended Snyder schools. 

Survivors include her father, Ira Pruitt of Snyder; two brothers,
 Michael Pruitt and Greg Pruitt, both of Snyder; two sisters, Pamela Pruitt of 
Arlington and Tammy Pruitt of Snyder; three uncles, Ennis Powell of Snyder, 
Bobby Blankinship of Beckville, Tex. and John Blankinship of Easton, Tex.; 
and several nieces and nephews. 

Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wright Colonial Funeral Home.
