Jason Phillips 

1981-2000 

WEATHERFORD – Jason Allen Phillips, a former Snyder resident, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, in Weatherford. 

Funeral service for Mr. Phillips, 19, is set for 2 p.m. Monday in the New Life Community Church. Graveside service is set for 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Memorial Cemetery in Plainview. 

Born March 17, 1981 in Fort Worth, Mr. Phillips had attended school in Snyder, Garner and Millsap. He was employed as a lathe operator and was a member of the New Life Community Church. 

Survivors include his father, Montie Phillips of Weatherford; his mother and stepfather, Betty and Jim Stanford of Plainview; a brother, Shawn Phillips of Plainview; two half-brothers, Roy Clyde and Gary Phillips of Oklahoma; a sister, Denise Reznicek of Bellville; his maternal grandmother, LaNell Jones and her husband, Alvin, of Mineral Wells; as well as a hosts of aunts, uncles and other relatives. 

The family suggests memorials to the Harvest Christian Fellowship in Plainview or to the New Life Community Church in Weatherford.
