Joy Dean Panter 

1936-2000 

Joy Dean Panter, 63, of Sweetwater, former Snyder resident, died Thursday,
 July 20, in Abilene Regional Hospital. 

Graveside service is set for 10 a.m. Saturday in the Sweetwater Cemetery
 under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home. The Rev. Malcolm Brown 
will officiate. 

Mrs. Panter was a nurse’s aide and had lived in Snyder for about 15 years. 

Survivors include three daughters, Valrie Ussery of Eldon, Mo.,
Julie Isett of Lubbock and Tammie Segura of Sweetwater; 
two sons, Robbie Ray Panter of San Angelo, Johnnie Dean Panter of Sweetwater; 
two sisters, Gunda Sanders of Jemez Springs, N.M., and Audrey Croche of Farmington, N.M.; 
two brothers, Mike Dahl of Farmington and Rue Gaylean of Bixby, Okla; nine grandchildren;
 three great-grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles and cousins in Snyder.
