John Nix 

1972-2000 

LEWISVILLE – John Paul Nix, the grandson of Alma Laurence Gladson of Snyder, died Sunday, Sept. 24, at his home in Highland Village from injuries sustained in a 1990 automobile accident. 

Funeral service for Mr. Nix, 27, was set for 2 p.m. today in the Lakeland Baptist Church in Lewisville. 

Born Dec. 16, 1972 in Dallas, he was a 1994 graduate of Marcus High School in Flower Mound. 

Survivors include his parents, John and Rene’e Nix of Highland Village; a sister, Kristie York of Denton; a brother, Zachary Nix of Longview; and a great-grandmother, Gladys Bond of Eastland. 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Wayland Gladson of Snyder; and his paternal grandmother, Dorris Nix Duff of Snyder.
