SNYDER DAILY NEWS http://www.snyderdailynews.com/Stories/index.htm Earley McCluskey 1917-2000 SWEETWATER – Earley Maybell McCluskey, the relative of four Snyder residents, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, in Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital. Graveside service was held Friday in the Sweetwater Cemetery with the Rev. Orvel Brantley officiating. Born May 10, 1917 in Paris, Tex., she was married to Arlie “Speck” McCluskey who died in 1972. A Sweetwater resident, Mrs. McCluskey had worked as a waitress at Stars, the Waffle Shop and at the Bluebonnet Hotel. She was a Baptist. Survivors include two sons, Donis McCluskey and Arlie McCluskey, both of Sweetwater; a grandson, Landon McCluskey of Sweetwater; three granddaughters, Virginia Grimes and her husband, Bobby, of Snyder, Alyssa McCluskey and Krystyne McCluskey, both of Sweetwater; one step granddaughter, Rene Elkins of Odessa; and great-grandchildren, Steven and Sidney Grimes of Snyder.
