The Rev. Charles Day, pastor of Ave. D. Baptist Church, officiated and Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Knollenberg, 88, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, in the Hospice of Wichita Falls following a brief illness. Born Feb. 14, 1912 in Tulsa County, Okla., Mr. Knollenberg married Ethel Sellers on Jan. 31, 1934 in Shawnee, Okla. She died Jan. 4, 1993. He also was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Marvin Knollenberg, in February, 1987. Mr. Knollenberg had owned and operated an automotive repair shop in Snyder for 25 years prior to his retirement. Survivors include two daughters, Marie Huckaby of Wichita Falls and Marilla Sue Mahoney of Seattle, Wash.; a son, Kenneth Knollenberg Jr. of Los Angeles; two sisters, Donna Ross of Houston and Dorothy Reim of Enid, Okla.; two brothers, Elroy Knollenberg of Palestine and Bill Knollenberg of Houston; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren
