SNYDER DAILY NEWS http://www.snyderdailynews.com/Stories/index.htm Neva Harmon 1913-2000 Mrs. Harmon, 86, died Sunday, Aug. 20, in a Waco hospital. Born Dec. 25, 1913 in Cleburne to Perry and Lillian White, she married G.A. Harmon on March 10, 1931 in Abilene. He died on Dec. 17, 1988. Mrs. Harmon had lived in Colorado City for 60 years, except for 12 years when she had resided in Odessa. Mrs. Harmon was a homemaker and a member of the Christian Fellowship Church. She was also a member of the Wallace Senior Citizens and the Golden Age Club in Westbrook. She also was preceded in death by a son, Doyle Harmon; and a daughter, Glenda Wooten Garlic. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Peggy of Greenville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Fretta and Ted Billingsley of Snyder and Joy and Carroll Bowles of Waco; a daughter-in-law, Janice Scrivner of Snyder; a sister, Ruby Mae Watson of Abilene; 15 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
