Funeral service for Mr. Harbin, 55, is set for 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church in Wickett. Burial will follow in Monahans Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Harkey Funeral Home. Born Oct. 2, 1944 in Whitesboro, Mr. Harbin had been a resident of Wickett for 35 years. A Baptist, he worked for the city of Wickett in meter service. Survivors include his wife, Ocie Harbin of Wickett; a son, Gary Harbin of Wickett; a daughter, Terry Vaughan of Gardendale; three brothers, James Harbin of Snyder, Raymond Harbin of Dublin and Bob Harbin of Gainesville; two sisters, Shirley Guynes of Snyder and Wanda Slaughter of Killeen; six grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.
