Funeral service for Mr. Glenney, 91, is set for 1 p.m. Saturday in the Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel in San Antonio with Deacon Steve Marques officiating. Interment will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Born Jan. 24, 1909 in San Antonio, Mr. Glenney reared his family in Snyder and he was a retired petroleum engineer for Texaco. His wife, Elizabeth “Betty” Glenney, preceded in death. Survivors include two sons, George Glenney of Georgetown and Richard Glenney of Duncanville; two daughters, Carolyn Lewis of Post and Mary Beth Glenney of San Antonio; one sister, Ethel Nicholson of San Antonio; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Family visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Jaynes Memorial Chapel of Duncanville.
