Eugene Ewalt 

1935-2000 

Funeral service for Eugene Francis Ewalt of Snyder is set for 5 p.m. Sunday at
 Wright Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Nan Swanson, pastor of
 First Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Cremation will follow. 

Mr. Ewalt, 65, died Thursday, July 27, in Cogdell Memorial Hospital following a
 lengthy illness. 

He was born March 12, 1935 in Cody, Wyo., and he married Joanne Grace Bobbitt
 on Sept. 4, 1954 in Cody. 

A resident of Snyder the past 17 years, he was a retired truck driver. 

His father, Marvin Ewalt; one son, Eugene F. Ewalt Jr.; two brothers, Kenneth Ewalt 
and James Ewalt, preceded him in death. 

Survivors include his wife, Joanne Ewalt; three sons and two daughters-in-law, 
Eugene E. Ewalt of Snyder, Dennis and Joyce Ewalt of Jordan, Ark., and David and 
Laura Ewalt of Quaker Hill, Conn.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Carrol and 
Don Ray of Clovis, N.M., Vicki and Cory Allen of Grants, N.M.; his mother, 
Clair Southwick of Riverton, Wyo.; two sisters, Ethel Rolland and Evelyn Shultz,
 both of Riverton; a brother, Marvin Ewalt of Powell, Wyo; 19 grandchildren; 
six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
