Bubba Ervin 

1984-2000 

Johnny Dean “Bubba” Ervin Jr., 16, died Friday, Sept. 8, in Snyder. 

Funeral service for Mr. Ervin is set for 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Wright Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Mike Howard, pastor of the Church of Nazarene, will officiate. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens. 

Born May 8, 1984 in Jackson, Miss., Mr. Ervin was a sophomore at Snyder High School and was a member of the Future Farmers of America. An all-around cowboy, he worked for many ranches in the Snyder area. 

Survivors include his father, Johnny D. Ervin of Snyder; his stepmother, Tammy Marricle of Snyder; three sisters, Stephanie Ervin, Angelice Ervin and Christie Patton, all of Snyder; two brothers, Timothy Craig of Snyder and Doug Monday of Huntsville; his grandparents, W.A. and Claudine Ervin of Snyder; his stepgrandparents, Ken and Tommie Toby of Clyde; a nephew, Eddie Tyler Duke Ervin of Snyder; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 this evening at Wright Colonial Funeral Home.
