Nell Boatenhamer 

1937-2000 

TATUM, N.M. – Funeral service for Nelda Jane “Nell” Boatenhamer, a former Snyder resident, is set for 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Tatum First Baptist Church. 

Mrs. Boatenhamer, 62, died Saturday, Aug. 26, in Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock after a brief illness. 

Born Sept. 9, 1937, she married Bill Boatenhamer in 1955. Mrs. Boatenhamer was a homemaker and a member of the First Methodist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Polly Floyd; and by one brother and sister-in-law, Clint Eldon and Bonifa Floyd. 

Survivors include her husband, Bill Boatenhamer of Tatum; a daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Ricky Rickman of Lovington, N.M.; two sons, Billy Boatenhamer of Tatum and Brad Boatenhamer of Waco; a sister and brother-in-law, Danna Lee and Jerry Hardisty of Monahans; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Eddie Don and Martha Floyd and John and Darla Floyd, all of Snyder; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
