Funeral service for Mr. Baldwin, 69, is set for 11 a.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ted Latham officiating. Burial will follow in the Ochiltree Cemetery under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Born Feb. 14, 1931 in Vernon, he married Reta Faye Jones on Dec. 24, 1960 in Fort Worth. Mr. Baldwin had worked in the oilfields, as a used car dealer and as a scrap metal dealer. A member of the First Baptist Church, he moved from Snyder to Perryton in 1982. Survivors include his wife, Reta Baldwin of Perryton; two sons, James Clyde “Jamey” Baldwin of Tucson and Carl Baldwin of Arlington; three daughters, Kim Baldwin of Portland, Ore., and Letha Pearson and Trina Jo Kirkpatrick, both of Fort Worth; a brother. Bill Baldwin of Kerrville; two sisters, Maxine Wininger of Wichita Falls and Mary Barnes of Fort Worth; and 10 grandchildren.
