SNYDER DAILY NEWS http://www.snyderdailynews.com/Stories/index.htm Alice Arnold 1933-2000 CISCO -- Alice Charlene Arnold, former Snyder resident, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, in an Abilene hospital. Funeral service for Mrs. Arnold, 66, is set for 10 a.m. Saturday in the Chambers-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel in Cisco. Gary Fink will officiate and burial will follow in Atwell Cemetery. Mrs. Arnold was born on Oct. 31, 1933 in Caldwell, Kan. She was reared in Ashton, Kan., and graduated from Oakley High School at Oakley, Kan. She married David Arnold on March 17, 1973 in Colby, Kan., and had lived in Snyder seven years, moving to Cisco in 1988. She was a homemaker and a bookkeeper. Two brothers preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, David Arnold of Cisco; one son, Stephen G. Richards of Cisco; four daughters, Ona Lopez of Cisco, Elizabeth Herron of Lincoln, Neb., Barbara Sonsteng of Plainville, Kan., and Stephenie Miller of Breckenridge; three sisters; Helen Gaines of Brighton, Colo., Franis Shong of Cisco and Miriam Shipper of Newton, Kan.; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren
