Rosary for Mr. Arista, 41, is set for 7 p.m. Sunday in the Myers & Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Service for Mr. Arista will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the St. Thomas Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mount Olive Memorial Park. Born Sept. 17, 1959 in Big Spring, Mr. Arista was a lifetime resident of Big Spring and a certified nurse’s aide. He was employed at Big Spring Care Center and was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. Survivors include his mother, Estanislada Arista of Big Spring; three daughters, Shelby Arista, Tonia Arista and Joanna Lara, all of Big Spring; two sons, Michael Arista of Big Spring and Anthony Arista; four other sisters, Hattie Hernandez of Fort Worth, Mary Licon, Sarah Robles and Lynda Arrendondo, all of Big Spring; and a brother, Adolph Arista of San Antonio.
