Hull Family

This first photo is of the remainder of the David Hull, Sarah Crouch Hull family in 1910 when they had a reunion at Snyder at the home of Jasper and Rhoda Hull. This is the photo that I hope you will use....with all correct names. Pasted on this page are the eleven children, all which appeared on the census and a part of a Bible record. I am sure there were other babies who did not survive. The amazing thing about this photo: All of the people, to the right of the window on the house, are buried in the Snyder Cemetery. None of the others are buried there.

The second photo is of the marker which was placed for dedication on March 5, 1988 at the small cemetery in Borden Co. This photo will be on the Borden GenWeb Site but you have permission to use it if you wish. This was on the date of Sarah's 150th birthday anniversary.

I found photos of the markers of Sarah, Vianna, E.B. Reneau, Mrs. E.J. Leach and Ladson Leach on page 25 of the Snyder Cemetery. Sarah was named for her grandmother, never married and had striking red hair. She was called "Emma" by all that knew her but she was named Sarah Emmaline on the Bible record. Vianna's name is horribly mispelled on her marker but may be found spelled many ways. She was called "Vi-nee" all of her life and I knew many people who personally knew her. Elizabeth Jane Hull married Ladson after the war. He served in the same CSA Unit as brother Samuel Smith Hull who encouraged the relationship and Ladson joined the Hulls as they returned to Texas at war's end.
