Nita Stewart Haley Memorial Library has housed the Paper Collection that contains over 9000 pieces of paper available for research. You can find information on soldiers in Texas during the War Between the States; there are scrap books, news articles, photos, personal letters, purchase lists, medical records, deed records, Confederate Soldiers Rosters, tax receipts, military pardons, application for Confederate pension, journals, all untapped material.
