Provides the names, burial dates, ages, birth places, material status, race and gender of the 2,583 persons buried in the pauper's cemetery recorded by the San Antonio city sexton.  It also records the funeral home that handled arrangements.  Bodies in this cemetery were removed to a mass grave located at Stimsom Field and the original cemetery is now occupied by a school.  Those buried are listed in alphabetic order.   137 pages, soft cover.

Soft cover.  Names only of 1865 registrants.  1867-1869 registration records provide the name of the individual, his place of birth and, if foreign born, shows how and where he obtained citizenship.  Also provides information about the registrant's residence and precinct number and the length of time he had been a resident of Texas, Bexar County and the precinct.
 
Bexar County, Texas, Confederate Pension Records: Annotated Abstractions of the First 325 Accepted Applications    Price (see Order Form) This book includes full abstractions of all documents in each applicant’s file.  Difficult to read physicians’ statements were deciphered by our medical consultant, Dr. Norman Jacobson.  The Table of Military Units of Bexar County Pension Applicants & Witnesses enables the researcher to compare the stories of men who had served in the same units.  Since soldiers often served in multiple units, it suggests the progression of a veteran from one unit to the next, helping to untangle little-known unit histories.  212 pages.  Full name index.
