cemetery recorded by the San Antonio city sexton. It
also records the funeral home that handled arrangements.
Bodies in this cemetery were removed to a mass grave located
at Stimsom Field and the original cemetery is now occupied by
a school. Those buried are listed in alphabetic order.

applicant’s file. Difficult to read physicians’ statements
were deciphered by our medical consultant, Dr. Norman
Jacobson. The Table of Military Units of Bexar County
Pension Applicants & Witnesses enables the researcher to
compare the stories of men who had served in the same units.
Since soldiers often served in multiple units, it suggests
the progression of a veteran from one
unit to the next, helping to untangle little-known unit
histories. 212 pages.
