Our History in Pictures (Our Family)

What is the Family Wall?

The Picture Wall is dedicated to the principal that we must never forget the wonderful brave people who are our ancestors. These pictures offer a rare opportunity to see these strong, resilient people as they lived. We must always remember the hardships they must have faced, the sacrifices they made and the legacy they left. The members of our society who have donated these pictures have given all of us the privilege of seeing the men, women and children who made all we have today possible

The library also has Internet broadband access with wireless capability.

Annual Quilt Fund Raiser

Each year members of SAGHS work together to create a hand made heirloom quality quilt which is raffled as a fund raiser at the Annual Founders Day Luncheon (or the Fall Seminar if the minimum ticket sales has not been reached).

"A quilt, as many people like to say, is a fabric sandwich. It has a top ... batting or filler ... and backing." — Marianne Fons, co-author of Quilter's Complete Guide
