I
have begun abstracting information from obituaries on file at the
Barnhart Library in Beeville, Texas and from Refugio newspapers at the
Refugio County Library. I have separated them
alphabetically and each alpha page is separated by locality to make for
easier searching as I expect this database to grow to be quite
large. Please be patient as I abstract the material and get it
posted. There are literally hundreds of obituaries on file in
Beeville and many more to be gleaned from the Refugio paper.
If any of you have an obituary you would like to submit, please do
so. It will help us grow. In addition, if you have an obituary you would like
for me to look for, just ask. Email is: [email protected] |

If you are able to visit the Refugio County Museum, you will find an enormous
collection of obituaries abstracted from local and area newspapers beginning in
1929 and continuing through the present. This is an awesome resource for
the researcher. Refugio County Museum - 361-526-5555 Mrs. Maxine Reilly, Director |
