The following marriages have been abstracted from handwritten record books in Refugio County. If I was not sure of the spelling of a name I put a question mark after it. In some cases I placed a more conventional spelling of a name in brackets for the convenience of a site search. Below each entry are notes pertaining to that marriage. The following Affidavit is attached to the above record: "We, the undersigned parents of Florencia Aguilar, age fifteen, hereby give our consent to the marriage of our said daughter to Pedro Ramises. Witness our hands this the 3rd day of July, A.D. 1891. Telesfor Aguilar, his mark, and Ysidora de los Santos, her mark. Witnesses: Luis Cabrera and Allen P{. Folsom

Abram Villareal	Miss Refugia Garcia	23 Sep 1891	Thos. Jas. Flynn	A.M. Villareal signed an Affidavit that he was at least 21 years of age and that Refugia was at least 18.
Mr. Ed. Toups	Miss Ida Doughty	18 Nov 1891	Father T.J. Flynn
Mr. John O'Brien, Jr.	Miss Nannie Hart	26 Nov 1891	Father Thos. Jas. Flynn
F.E. Remm	Miss Laura Morris	Issued Dec 1891		This was not returned and no marriage date is given although F.E. Remm signed the Affidavit that he was at least 21 years of age and that Laura was at least 18.
