Matched Roping and Rodeo Added Attractions Clay Cade of Alpine and Bill Teague of Crane Vie for Junior Crown of Southwest, June 11 An added attraction for Water Carnival visitors this year will be a matched calf roping between two top-notch younger ropers who promise to become champions of tomorrow, Clay Cade and Alpine and Bill Teague of Crane -- They will catch 10 calves each. In addition a jackpot roping is planned in the new Rooney Park Arena of the Pecos County Sheriff's Posse. An exhibition bronc riding event will complete the ticket for a big dollar's worth of entertainment, starting at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon (50 cents for children -- tax included in each price.) |
