The Richards Hotel in Mineral Wells, taken July 20, 1894.  According to information received by the Star, this hotel, one of the best in the resort city at that time, was located where the Baker Hotel now stands.  The couple standing in front of the steps are Mr. and Mrs. Richards, parents of Frank Richards of Mineral Wells.  Others in the picture include Col. and Mrs. McAdams.  McAdams Peak, highest point in Palo Pinto County, was named for Col. McAdams.
