Miss Mary E. Glenn and Dolph Dickerson were married at the Glenn home at Mr. Zion, June 28, 1896.  The family came here from Lamar County in 1888 and settled three miles north of Thurber, 300 yards from Number 6 mine shaft.  They were Methodists and have one daughter, Mrs. O. L. Reasoner, still living in the county.  Other descendants are Johnnie Lee Dickson and Noah W. Dickson, both deceased; Mmes. F. L. Bird and J. F. Heaser and D. L. Dickson, along with 15 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren.
