Larkin and Sarah Jones were early settlers of this county and their son, Will F. Jones was born at Lake Creek, February 9, 1882.  They settled in the Lone Camp community when they arrived here.

Will F. Jones and Minnie Lee Stevens, daughter of Jim and Geneve Stevens at Palo Pinto, September 11, 1902. [sic]  The Stevens family had come here from Fayette County the year before.

Children  of Mr. and Mrs. Will F. Jones are, Mrs. Vernon Marsden, Robert J. Jones and Carl Jones, all of Lone Camp; Mrs. Dwight Chesnut of Brazos; Mrs. Carlton Jones of Midland and Mrs. Owen Merriman of Carthage.  They also have 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  Mr. Jones is now engaged in the grocery business.
