Brothers of Brush Winners Named By Committee

Wednesday afternoon brought a crowd out to view important Centennial events, the preliminary judging of the Brothers of the Brush and the Centennial Belles Style Show.

The final judging and presentation of awards is part of Thursday night's show at the Palocade.

Winners in the classifications of beards are heaviest growth, Bennett McClure, Joe Russell, L. C. Ely; Chin whiskers, Carl Hickman, Jake Halford, J. C. Bartlett; Side Whiskers, Clyde Hull; Handle Bar, George Smith, Charles Alexander; A. B. Higgins, Brown, George Smith, Bennett McClure, Curly Bridges; Unusual, J. C. Bartlett, Henry Clay, A. E Price; Distinguished, Carl Hickman, John Bull, W. M. Darnell; Red Beard, Charles Alexander, J. B. "Red" West; Black Beard, A. B. Gilbert, J. C. Bartlett; White Beard, Henry Outlaw, E. S. Grueben, W. M. Darnell.

Judges for the beard contest were Col. Wm. N. Beard, Cecil Young, Jack Massengale and Lt. Col. John B. Lanord.

The beard judging was held at the reviewing stand on First Avenue and Hubbard.
