Aspermont - Luther M. Reese, 80, of Aspermont, and father of a Hermleigh man died at 9 a.m. Sunday. Services are pending with McCoy Funeral Home in Aspermont.

Born July 14, 1908, in Carbon, he had lived in the Aspermont area for the past 64 years. He married Clover Galloway 

Nov. 26, 1924 in Stonewall County.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Rex of Hermleigh; two sisters, Sally Holmes of Houston and Mary Alice Reese of Peacock; a grandson, Robin Rex Harrell and a granddaughter, Sharee; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Martha Herrell and eight brothers and sisters.
