Rosa Ann Wolfe Huffman Rosa Ann Wolfe Huffman, 81, of Sweetwater, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007, at the Gaither House. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2007 at the Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Darold Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home. Huffman was born on October 30, 1925, in Wichita Falls. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Possum Kingdom Lake and she attended First Christian Church of Sweetwater. She was a member of Possum Kingdom Women's Club and Possum Kingdom Eastside Fire Auxillary. Huffman was a retired teacher with over 36 years teaching experience. She taught at SISD for many years and also worked as the food service administrator for SISD before retiring. She had been a resident of Sweetwater from 1954 to 1985, then moved to Possum Kingdom and lived there from 1985 to 2001 and then moved back to Sweetwater. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan Pannell and husband John of Troup and Janet Stephens and husband Laverl of Sweetwater; one son and daughter-in-law , Roger Wolfe and wife Susan of Possum Kingdom Lake; six grandchildren, Bill Pannell and wife Chareyl and Dee Pannell, both of Troup, Toby Stephens and wife Karin, Tory Stephens and wife Trisha, Casey Wolfe and wife Amy and Kelsey Kelso and husband Clayton, all of Lubbock; six great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; two sisters, Bonnie Ruth Fowler of Graham and Elizabeth Otis of Hemet, Calif.; one brother, Don Hays of Arlington; and numerous nieces and nephews. Huffman was preceded in death by her parents John and Bonnie Hays; first husband, Robert Wolfe in 1963; second husband, Archie Huffman in 1992; five brothers, Bain Hays, Johnny Hays, Kenneth Hays, Joe Hays and Jimmy Hays. The pallbearers will be her grandsons.
