Sgt. William O. Nesmith, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Nesmith, attended Union High School.  Entered the service in 1942, trained with Anti-Aircraft at Camp Wallace.  Served in Puerto Rico, England, France, Germany and Austria.  Now in Germany.  Wears Theater Ribbons.
NETTLES, HOWARD R.
Sgt. Howard R. Nettles, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Nettles, husband of the former Miss Jo Coker, graduated from Kerens High School.  Entered the Air Corps in 1944 and went overseas in April 1945, trained at Wichita Falls, Amarillo and in Calif., Ariz., and Miss.  Served in Hawaii and Marianas.  Now on duty on Saipan.  Wears Theater Ribbon.
NEWMAN, LLOYD L.
S/Sgt. Lloyd L. Newman, son of Mrs. Leroy Newman, graduated from Kerens Schools and Tyler Commercial College.  Entered the Air Corps in 1941, trained at Aeronautical School in New Jersey.  Went overseas in 1944.  Now in Philippines.  Wears Theater Robbon.

Ensign Carl R. Newton, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl R. Newton, husband of the former Miss Edna Pettis, graduated from Corsicana Schools.  Entered the service in 1939, trained with U.S. Coast Guard Radio School at Baltimore, Md., and Officers Training School at New London, Conn.  Served in Labrador.  Now in Washington, D.C.
NEAL, WESLEY
S 1/C Wesley Neal, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Neal, attended Blooming Grove Schools.  Entered the Navy in 1944, trained at Great Lakes, Camp Perry and Wildwood, N.J.  Now on duty aboard USS Randolph in Pacific.  Wears Theater Ribbon.

Pfc. Franklin R. Nichols, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Nichols, husband of the former Miss Ruby Glee Payne, attended Zions Rest Schools.  Entered the Army Infantry in 1944, trained at Camp Robinson and Gruber.  Served in Austria, France, and Germany.  Now on duty at Saltzburg, Germany.  Wears Theater Ribbon.
NICHOLSON, CLYDE M.
Pvt. Clyde M. Nicholson, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Nicholson, husband of the former Miss Macel Hiler, graduated from Barry School.  Entered the Army in 1942, trained at Camp Rucker.  Was discharged in 1943.

W. O. Billy R. Noble, son of Ray Noble, husband of the former Miss Martha Ottenbacher, graduated from Kerens High School and attended Weatherford College. Entered the Army Signal Co. Air Craft Warning, trained at San Antonio, Ft. Monmouth, N.J., Ft. Lawton, Wash.  Has served in Alaska and is now on duty in Aleutian Islands.  Wears Theater Ribbons.
NOKES, CLYDE G.
A/S Clyde G. Nokes, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Nokes, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered the Air Corps in 1944, trained at Sheppard Field and is now on duty in Phoenix, Ariz.

Lt. Virgil B. Nokes, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Nokes, husband of the former Miss Janelle McBroom, graduate of Corsicana Senior High School.  Entered service, 1940, transferred to Air Corps, 1942, trained at Camp Bowie, Chico Field, Luke Field and Randolph.  Now on duty at Alamogordo, New Mexico.

Sgt. William C. Nokes, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Nokes, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Tank Corps at Camp Campbell, Kentucky.  Has served in Hawaii, Leyte, Okinawa.  Has Bronze Star and Good Conduct Medal.
NOKES, JAMES C.
1st James C. Nokes, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Nokes, husband of the former Miss Anna Butler, attended Corsicana School.  Entered service, 1939, trained with Army at Ft. Warren, Camp Rucker.  Has served in England, France and Belgium.  Discharged under point system.  Has Purple Heart for injuries received in English Channel, 1944.  Has Good Conduct, American Defense Medals, and Bronze Star.
NOKES, LOUIS W.
EM 1/C Louis W. Nokes, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Nokes, husband of the former Miss Thelma Smith, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Seabees at Camp Endicott.  Has served in Aleutians, now on duty somewhere in the South Pacific.
NOKES, VERNON L.
Pfc. Vernon L. Nokes, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Nokes, husband of the former Miss Frances Nichols, graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Air Corps at Sheppard Field, Langley Field, Del Rio, where now on duty.
NOKES, ROBERT E.
Pfc. Robert E. Nokes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Nokes, husband of the former Miss Velma Hoffman.  Entered Service, 1944, trained with Army at Camp Maxey.  Has served in England and France, now on furlough enroute to Pacific.  Has Good Conduct Medal and 2 Battle Stars.
NOKES, GEORGE O., JR.
Lt. George O. Nokes, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. G. O. Nokes, Corsicana, graduate of Mildred School.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Air Forces at Sheppard, Las Vegas, Carlsbad, Tonopah, and Tuscon, Flew Combat with 8th Air Force out of England over European Theater, now enroute to Pacific with B-29 Bomb Group.  Has Campaign Ribbons, Air Medal with Oak Clusters.
NORMAN, CLAUDE
Cpl. Claude Norman, son of Mrs. C. L. Blakely, husband of the former Alyne Poole.  Entered service, 1944, trained with the Air Corps at Sheppard Field.  Now stationed at Frederick, Okla.
NORRIS, ALTON W.
A/S Alton, W. Norris, son of Mr. William N. Norris, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Lois Winnette Norris, attended Corsicana Schools.  Entered service, 1944, trained with Navy at Great Lakes and was Medically Discharged, 1944.
NORRIS, WILLIAM D.
Pfc. William D. Norris, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Norris, Ft. Worth, husband of the former Miss Johnnie Mae McLaughlin, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Army at Camp Swift.  Medical Discharge, 1943.
