1st Lt. Avry T. Jackson, son of Lt. Col. and Mrs. John J. Garner, husband of the former Miss Dorothy Paschal, graduate of Corsicana and attended A. & M. College.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Air COrps at Santa Anna, Cal., Oznard, Cal., Lemoore, Cal., and Luke Field, Arizona.  Has served in England, France, Germany, now on duty at Drew Field, Fla.  Has Air Medal, E.T.O. Ribbon with Bronze Stars.
JACKSON, LEWIS L.
Capt. Lewis L. Jackson, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. N. Jackson, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Inez Plunkett, graduate of A. & M. College.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Army at Ft. Sam Houston, Ft. Bliss, Ft. Clark, and Camp Funston.  Has served in India, China.  Has Bronze Star.

Pvt. Jimmie F. Jackson, formerly of Navarro County.  Entered the Paratrooper, 1944.  Has been on duty in Philippines, now on duty on Luzon.
JACKSON, ROBERT C., JR.
Sgt. Robert C. Jackson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Jackson, Sr., Corsicana, graduate of Barry High School, attended Hillsboro Junior College.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Air Forces in Sheppard Field, Keesler Field, Willow Run, and Ft. Myers.  Now on duty at Avon Park, Fla.

T/5 Earnest R. Jackson, son of Mrs. W. B. Jackson, Kerens, Texas, husband of the former Miss Mary R. Byrd, attended Kerens High School.  Entered Armored Div. of Army, 1943, trained at Mineral Wells, Tex., and Ft. Knox, Ky.
JACKSON, MILAM L.
M/Sgt. Milam L. Jackson, son of Mrs. W. B. Jackson, Kerens, husband of the former Miss Dorothy VanZanten, graduate of Kerens High School.  Entered Air Corps, 1938, trained at Randolph Field, Chanute Field and Scott Field Technical School.  Has served in Alaska, where now on duty.  Has Good Conduct Medal and Distinguished Bombardier Medal.
JAMISON, OKEY L.
Pvt. Okey L. Jamison, son of Mrs. Ada Hendricks, Corsicana, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Army at Camp Roberts, Calif.  Has served in Alaska, before receiving Medical Discharge in 1944.  Has Asiatic-Pacific Ribbon.
JARNIGAN, BRYAN
Sgt. Bryan Jarnigan, entered service, 1942, training at Camp Wallace and Camp Stewart.  Has served in East with Army Intelligence and was later transferred to C.A.A.A. as an instructor at Ft. Bliss.  Has served in New Caledonia, Bougainville, and Philippines, where now on duty.
JARRETT, THOMAS E.
Pfc. Thomas E. Jarrett, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. S. Jarrett, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Stacy Fay Dyess, attended Frost School.  Entered service, 1944, trained with Army at Camp Robinson, Ark.  Has served in France and Germany, was wounded in Germany, 1945.  Has Purple Heart and Infantry Combat Badge, now on duty in Germany.
JAYROE, HARVIE L.
Pvt. Harvie L. Jayroe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Jayroe, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Willie Mae Yates, attended Bell Point School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with infantry at Camp Roberts, California.  Honorable discharge, 1943.

HA 2/C Johnnie Q. Jayroe, son of Mrs. Frankie Lee Hanson, formerly of Purdon.  Attended Milby High School, Houston.  Entered service, 1944, training in the Navy at San Diego.  Discharged in 1944.
JAYROE, DOYLE O.
RDM 2/C Doyle O. Jayroe, son of Mrs. Laura Mitchell, Purdon, graduated from Purdon High School.  Entered the Coast Guard August, 1942, training at New Orleans, La., Grarton, Conn., Va. Beach, Va.  Served in France, England, Panama, Tunis, Hawaii and Bermuda.  Now on duty in South Pacific.  Awarded American and European T.O. Ribbons.
JAYROE, CLIFTON E.
Cpl. Clifton E. Jayroe, son of Mrs. E. E. Jayroe, Purdon, wife, the former Ollie Mae Thixton.  Attended Purdon High School.  Entered the Army Nov., 1942, training at Camp Roberts, Calif., Long Beach, River Side, march Field, Calif., Seattle, Wash.  Now on duty at Portland Oregon.

MOMM 1/C John D. Jean, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Jean, Blum, husband of former Trudge Archer, Corsicana.  Attended Blum Schools.  Entered service, 1942, training in the Navy at Great Lakes, Ill.  Served in Caribbean Sea Frontiers and Panama Canal Zone. Has Campaign Ribbons.
JENKINS, JOHN H.
Pvt. John H. Jenkins, son of Mrs. Ray Gorrell.  Attended Mildred Schools.  Entered the Army Engineers in 1944, training at Camp Fannin.  Served in Italy where he is now on duty.
JENKINS, JACK L.
Pfc. Jack L. Jinkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Jenkins, husband of the former Ruby Doris Massey.  Attended Sweetwater Schools.  Entered service, 1943, serving in the U.S. Army Engineers, training at Camp Claiborne, La.  Served in England, France, Belgium and Germany.  Now on duty at Ft. Belvoir, Va.  Has ETO Ribbon, Bronze Stars, Unit Citation, Good Conduct Ribbon.
JENKINS, ROY C., JR.
Pfc. Roy C. Jenkins, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Clyde Jenkins, husband of former Jimmie Lois Sims.  Graduate of Kerens High School.  Entered the Marines Oct., 1943, training at USMS, San Diego, Calif., Norman, Okla.  Now on duty at Cherry Point, N.C.

JENNINGS, JAMES M.
Sgt. James M. Jennings, son of Mrs. M. J. Jennings of Corsicana, attended the Rural Shade Schools.  Entered service in Jan., 1941, training in the Air Corps at Florida.  Served in South America and in Puerto Rico.  Is now on duty in British Guiana, South America.
JENNINGS, BURTON K.
SK 3/C Burton K. Jennings, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Jennings, Kerens, graduate of Kerens High School and ETSTC, Commerce.  Entered the navy March 29, 1943, training at New Orleans, La.  Served in S. Pacific aboard U.S. Zeal and A.C. Carrier, U.S. Rudyerd Bay.  Now on duty at Camp Bedilen, Pt. Hueneme, Calif.
