HEARD, NANCY HAMPTON MORRIS May 10, 1938 -- November 30, 2007
Services for Mrs. Nancy Jean Hampton
Morris Heard, 69, of Naples were December 3, 2007, at First United
Methodist Church with the Rev. Mike Fraley and the Rev. Dr. Tim Edwards
officiating. Mrs. Heard was born May 10, 1938, in Naples. She died
November 30, 2007, in Texarkana. She was a retired banking officer at
Morris County National Bank, a member of First United Methodist Church
where she served as secretary for several years, a member and Past
Worthy Matron of Order of the Eastern Star Naples Chapter #907, and a
member of the Naples Lions Club and the American Legion Ladies
Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by a husband, Jerry Morris.
Survivors include her husband, Tommy G Heard of Naples, three sons and
two daughters-in-law, Milton Wayne Morris of Dallas, Michael and Robin
Morris and Chris and Jessica Heard all of Naples; one daughter, Mona
Jeree Morris Johnson of Naples; a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and
Janice Hampton of Boxelder, Texas; a sister, Gloria Norwood of Naples;
and six grandchildren, Jake Wiley, Randi Wiley, Hunter Johnson, Eric
Morris, Abigail Heard and Eli Heard, all of Naples. Burial was in
Wheatville Cemetery at Naples under the direction of Harrison Funeral
Home of Naples. Serving as pallbearers were Rafel Ranes, J Roy Traylor,
Steven Luttrell, Shannon Holmes, Bobby Stewart and Carlos Scoggins. (Loc

WILLEFORD, HENRY �BUTCH� May 11, 1942 � June 23, 1997
Henry (Butch) Willeford, 55, of
Avinger, died Monday, June 23, at the University of Texas Health
Center. Graveside services were at 10 am, Wednesday, June 25, at the
Wheatville Cemetery at Naples, with the Rev. Bill Harty officiating, and
under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Naples. Mr. Willeford
was a former resident of Naples, and was a member of the Baptist
Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Willeford on
December 26, 1942. Survivors include his mother, Ruby Willeford of
Avinger; one son, Tony Benton Willeford of Dallas; five sisters, Norma
Simpson of Avinger, Dorothy Rhymes of Denison, Margaret Elliott of Mt.
Pleasant, Rose Welborn of Bonham and Melba Moore of Avinger; two
brothers, Thomas Willeford and Danny Willeford, both of Avinger; and a
