Graveside services for Mr. Rayford
Anthony, 81, of Naples, were April 26, 2007, at the Vissering Cemetery
in Naples, with the Rev. Charles Thomas officiating. Mr. Anthony was
born June 4, 1925, in Marietta. He died April 24, 2007, at Good
Shepherd Medical Center in Longview. He was retired from Red River
Depot, a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, a member of VFW Post #1890, and a
member of First Baptist Church in Naples. He was preceded in death by
his parents, Jess Anthony and Emma Body Anthony and nine brothers and
sisters. Survivors include his wife, Anne Vissering Anthony of Naples,
and several nieces and nephews. (Location Unknown)
HARTE, JONAH AUBREY �IKEY� March 30, 1925 � March 5, 1999
Jonah Aubrey (Ikey) Harte, Jr., 73, of
Naples, died Friday, March 5, 1999, at St Michael�s Hospital in
Texarkana. Services were Sunday, March 7 at the First United Methodist
Church in Naples, with the Rev. Dr. Dan Darby officiating. Burial was
in the Vissering Cemetery near Naples, under the direction of Alexander
Funeral home, Inc., of Naples. Mr. Harte, born March 30, 1925, in
Naples, was a retired employee of Lone Star Steel Co., an avid cattleman
and rancher, and a member of the First United Methodist Church of
Naples. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Jo, and a
brother, Clayton. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Terri
and Craig Garner of Jacksonville; a granddaughter, Whittney Garner of
Jacksonville; a sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Ben Best of
Naples; a brother and sister-in-law, Forrest and Iris Harte of Lone
Star; a number of nieces and nephews; and two special friends, Barbara
Mongognia and Willie Pearl Boyd. Serving as pallbearers were Ben Best
Jr., Pete Brown, George Caraway, Mike Harte, Pat Tomberlain and Harry

Services for Ms. Martha Tomberlain,
46, of Naples, were held Monday, Aug. 14, 2000 at the First Baptist
Church in Naples with the Rev. Richard Tatum and Dr. Joe Perkins
officiating. Ms. Tomberlain was a teacher at Northeast Texas Community
College, a member of the First Baptist Church in Daingerfield and a
lifetime resident of Morris Co. Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Rose
Tomberlain of Naples; a companion, Allen Jones of Naples; two sisters
and brother-in-law, Barbara and Frankie Manna of Daingerfield and
Lillian Johnson of Naples; one brother and sister-in-law, Pat and Sue
Tomberlain of Atlanta; one brother-in-law, Rev. R. D. Tatum of Paris;
one niece and a number of nephews. Burial was in Vissering Cemetery in

TOMBERLAIN, ROSE EVALYN February 26, 1915 � September 14, 2004
Services for Mrs. Rose Evalyn
Vissering Tomberlain, 89, of Naples, were Thursday, September 16, 2004,
at First Baptist Church in Naples with the Rev. Barry Brown
officiating. Mrs. Tomberlain was born February 26, 1915, in Gabwell,
Red River Co., near Clarksville, the tenth of twelve children born to
Lillie Nora and Harry James Vissering. She died Tuesday, September 14,
2004, in Little Rock, AR. She was a member of First Baptist Church in
Naples, was a Sunday school teacher for 60 years in Atlanta and Naples
First Baptist Churches combined, a 55-year member of Eastern Star, a
charter member of Amity Study Club of Atlanta, past president of the
Pewitt PTA, Naples Garden Club, and an election judge for the Naples
precinct until the age of 84. Survivors include one son and
daughter-in-law, Pat and Sue Tomberlain of Atlanta; two daughters and
son-in-law, Barbara and Frankie Manna of Daingerfield and Lillian
Johnson of Naples; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She
was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Tomberlain, two daughters,
Charlotte Tatum and Martha Cudd. Interment was at the Vissering Family

Vicki Susan Vissering Turner, 43, of
Grapevine, TX, died Sunday, October 22, as the result of an automobile
accident. Memorial services are pending with Alexander Funeral Home of
Naples. Mrs. Turner was born December 18, 1951 in Naples, and was a
member of the 1970 graduating class of Pewitt High School. She was
employed with GTE in Irving, and was preceded in death by her mother,
Ann Vissering, and a brother, Jack Vissering. Survivors include four
stepchildren, Vicke, Valerie, Michael and Steven Turner; her father and
stepmother, Wes and Ruth Vissering of Naples; a sister, Rebecca Burke of
Mt. Pleasant; and a number of nieces and nephews. (Row ?)

Services for Harry George Vissering,
69, of Naples, were July 6, 2007, at Daniel�s Chapel Congregational
Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Thomas officiating. Mr.
Vissering was born March 21, 1938, in Texarkana, Arkansas. He died July
2, 2007, in Fort Stockton, Texas. He was owner/operator of a vending
machine company and a member of the First United Methodist Church of
Naples. He was preceded in death by his parents, LaDelle and Henry
George Vissering, and a sister, Patsy Caraway. Survivors include two
sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Cassandra Vissering and Harry
James and Chassidy Vissering, all of Naples; a daughter and son-in-law,
Michelle and Brad McCone of Crowley, Texas; a special friend, Mary Janet
Wakefield; and five grandchildren, Ashton Vissering, Stephanie Vissering,
Carson McCone, Clayton Vissering, and Dalton Vissering. Burial was in
