Services for Mr. Roy T.
Barnett, 68, of Omaha, were Wednesday, March 15, 2006, at Alexander
Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Freeman officiating. Mr. Barnett
was born Nov. 17, 1937, in Bonham. He died Saturday, March 11, 2006, at
Baylor Regional Medical Center in Plano. He was a retired heavy
equipment painter for Latourneau Industries, a veteran of the US Army,
1956-1958, a Methodist and member of the Moose Lodge. Survivors include
his wife, Hassie Barnett of Omaha; two sons, Roy A. Barnett of Omaha and
Bobby Cason of Las Vegas, NV; one daughter and son-in-law, Annetta and
Guy Prins of Mountain View, AR; dear friend, Kenneth Heard of Mt.
Pleasant; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces,
nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by three sons, Dewayne
Barnett, Scottie L. McKee and Terry Lee McKee; one brother, Elvie Lee
Barnett; and one sister, Helen Ophelia Porter. Interment was at Snow
Hill Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. (Location Unknown)

Services for W.J. Clark of Queen City were
held July 10 at the First Baptist Church in Queen City with the Rev.
Mike Lovely officiating. Interment was in Snow Hill Cemetery under the
direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home in Daingerfield. Mr. Clark was
born Jan. 18, 1928, in Cookville and died July 7 at his home, surrounded
by his family and pastor. Mr. Clark served in the U.S. Air Force from
1946 to 1948, was retired from Red Ball Motor Freight, and was a member
of First Baptist Church of Queen City. Survivors include his wife of 57
years, Pauline Clark of Queen City; one daughter and son-in-law,
Paulette and Keith Abbott of Kaufman; two sons and a daughter-in-law,
Jay and Dickie Clark of Arkadelphia, Ark., and Robert Clark of Cape Cod,
Mass.; one sister and brother-in-law, Juanita and J.W. Pinkerton of
Mount Pleasant; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous

Services for Mr. James E �Jim� Green, 50, of
Naples were Saturday, Mar. 31, 2001 at Liberty Baptist Church with the
Rev. Hugh Gibbs officiating. Mr. Green was born Mar. 27, 1951 in
Dallas. He died Wednesday, Mar. 28, 2001 in Mt. Pleasant. He was an
employee of Armco Transportation Co. in Hughes Springs, a member of
Liberty Baptist Church, a Vietnam veteran and a longtime resident of
Naples and Hughes Springs. Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Peace
Green of Naples; daughter, Tanya Griffith of Greenville; three
step-daughters, Chasity Fowler of Cincinnati, OH, Reland Fowler of
Texarkana and Amy Fowler of Naples; four grandchildren, his mother, Pat
Roberts of New Boston; his father, Randall Green of Marietta; two
brothers, Randy Green of Mt. Vernon and Larry Green of Marietta; two
sisters, Charlotte Finney of Marietta and Cherrie Barrera of New
Orleans, LA and a number of other relatives. Interment was at Snow Hill

Services for Frank Earnest Howell, 78, of
Naples, were held Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998 at the Veal Switch Baptist
Church with the Rev. H. G. Hargrave and Rev. Curtis Hall officiating.
Burial was in the Snow Hill Cemetery under the direction of Nail-Haggard
Funeral Home. Mr. Howell was born in New Boston, Mar. 28, 1920, and
died Dec. 21, 1998 in Naples. He was an ordained Assembly of God
minister. He attended Veal Switch Baptist Church. Mr. Howell served in
the Army during WWII and was a member of the Disabled American
Veterans. He is survived by six daughters, Elizabeth McCurdy of
Lebanon, PA; Mary Thir of Reno, NV; Rebecca Diffenderfer of Manheim, PA;
Naomi Greeninger of Lebanon, PA; Martha Bicksler of Myerstown, PA; Ruth
Showers of Jonestown, PA; two sons, John Howell of Omaha; James Howell
of Harrisberg, PA; four brothers, Wesley Howell of Omaha; Roy Howell of
Camarillo, CA; James Howell of Hughes Springs; Richard Howell of FL; two
sisters, Pauline Clark of Atlanta; and Gladys Reese of Cookville; 21
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by

Scotty Lynn McKee, 36, of

6, at the Snow Hill Cemetery. Mr. McKee was born Thursday, December 8,
1960, in Mt. Pleasant. He was an aids educator for the state of TX.

Bobby McKee Sr., of Las Vegas; his stepfather, Roy Barnett of Omaha; a
sister Mrs. Guy (Annetta) Prins of Longview; brothers, Bobby Leon Cason

Services for Mr. Morris Allen Jones, 62, of
Omaha, were December 29, 2007, at Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev.
Doug Freeman officiating. Mr. Jones was born January 21, 1945, in
Naples. He died December 25, 2007, at his home in Omaha. He was a
heavy equipment operator in the construction industry and a Christian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Merrell and Maggie Jones; a
brother, William Edward Jones; and a brother-in-law, Roy Barnett.
Survivors include three sons and one daughter-in-law, Michael and Amanda
Jones, and James Jones all of Omaha, and Timothy Jones of Mt. Pleasant;
a sister, Hassie Barnett and nephew, Roy Allen Barnett both of Omaha;
four grandchildren, Kristen Jones, Ashley Jones, Brandon Walters and
Jack Precise; and his companion, Barbara Atchley. Burial was in Snow
Hill Cemetery near Mt. Pleasant under the direction of Harrison Funeral

Cleo (Bo) Peace, 86, of
Omaha, died Monday, August 11, 1997, at the Titus Regional Medical
Center in Mt. Pleasant. Funeral services were at 2 pm,, Wednesday,
August 13, at the Liberty Baptist Church in Naples, with the Rev. Bill
Harty officiating. Burial was in the Snow Hill Cemetery near Omaha,
under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home. Mr. Peace was born
November 6, 1910, in Daingerfield. He was a retired farmer, a member of
the Liberty Baptist Church, and a lifetime resident of Morris County.
Survivors include his wife, Velma Peace of Omaha; a son, Luther Peace of
Omaha; two daughters, Myrtle Morris of Naples, and Louise Carlson of
Pittsburg; a brother, Perry Peace of DeKalb; a sister, Evelyn Bunner of
Haynesville, LA; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were Tony Cobb, George Motley, Jerry Elliott,

Peace, 80, of Pittsburg, were Sunday, Jul 3, 2005, at Fellowship Baptist
Church with the Revs. David Kizer and Joe Caudle officiating. Mrs.
Peace was born March 20, 1925, in DeKalb. She died Friday, Jul 1, 2005,
at Woodland Harbor in Pittsburg. She was a member of Austin Chapel
Baptist Church in Pittsburg. Survivors include one son, Luther Peace of
Cameron, MO; two daughters, Louise Carlson and Myrtle Green, both of
Pittsburg; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Roy
Betts and Herbert Betts, both of Pittsburg; one sister, Lesby Elrod of
DeKalb. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleo Peace; and her
parents, Herbert Betts and Mattie Cabler Betts. Interment was at Snow
Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers included Nathan MacFall, Joseph Peace, Larry

MRS. JOE TIGERT (THELMA
CARRUTH), 62-year old Omaha resident, died Monday morning following a
long illness. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Omaha.
She is survived by her
husband; two sons, Jerry Tigert of Omaha, and Bobby Tigert of Lone Star;
five daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Hicks of El Paso, Mrs. Nell Bisang of Wink,
Mrs. Mary Blackburn of Dallas, and Mrs. Frankie Berry and Mrs. Wilma Jo
Vissering of Naples; two brothers, Ike Carruth of Omaha, and Tommy
Carruth of Winfield; and three sisters, Mrs. Alma Godsey, Mrs. Zelma
Sanders and Mrs. Lessie Kennedy, all of Mt. Pleasant; and 17
grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2:30 PM Wednesday at the
First Baptist Church of Omaha with the Rev. Bill Beckham and the Rev.
Bob Pearce officiating. Burial was in the Snow Hill Cemetery under the
direction of the Hanner Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Thomas Thigpen,
Royce Thigpen, David Giles, Luther Morris, Roy Martin, James Coffey and
