LOCATION: This small family cemetery is located on
the farm of Mr. George Williams in the Mt. Moriah Community west of
Daingerfield. Mt. Moriah Baptist Church is located nearby. This is 3.0
miles west of the courthouse in Daingerfield on Highway 49 and right on
CR 3109 for .3 mile. Mr. Williams lives on the right and permission
must be obtained to enter his private property.
The cemetery is known to be predominantly black.
The Cemetery was read Dec 9, 1998 by Charles A.
Steger, beginning at the gate on the north side.
